ABOUT US

Our names are Colin and Wesley and we are ABCs (American-Born Chinese). We are currently in the college and high school in California, USA. In 2005, we visited Beijing and had a great time. While there, we saw many wonderful sights and were very impressed by how modern Beijing is. But we also observed that many kids our age don't always practice some basic health habits. A lot of diseases can be prevented just by practicing these simple habits. Our grandmother was a doctor, and she would often quote Benjamin Franklin, the famous person in American history, that “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” This means that it is easier to prevent sickness in the first place rather than trying to treat the sickness.

So, we decided to make this website to share some things about health issues that you may not know about. We also hope the site can help you practice and improve your English. If you put your mouse cursor over the words in red
for a moment, a box with the word in Chinese will appear. By the way, we researched the information for this website from textbooks and other trustworthy sources. Then the information was reviewed for accuracy by Dr. Clare F. Ji, who is a medical doctor.

We hope you enjoy our site!
